After grad school and finding herself temporarily jobless, Cecilia joined the Athena's Home Novelties company. She believes that self-love and self-pleasure are just as good medicine as laughter. Though it is her part-time job, she looks at it more as a healthy balance to her day job and quite the stress-reliever!


She couldn't imagine life without Athena's!  This business has been a gateway to new friends, a supportive community, and a constant reminder that self-care is of the utmost importance.  Not to mention the fact that the supplemental income has been a blessing in these difficult times!  As far as she can see, she is hooked on the Goddess Life!


About Cecilia al-Bahr
A life-long lover and participant of music and the arts, Cecilia began belly dancing in 2002. This mermaid quickly saw the similarities of the motions to being free in the water, and fell in love with the art. While it was the mermaid-like moves that drew her in, it is the empowerment in expression that keeps her hooked. Cecilia continues to fill her grotto full of sparkles and sequins, and takes absolute pleasure in sharing the dance with others. She plans on continuing her education with Amira Jamal, Najmat of Boston, and workshops.
